Coastal Ear, Nose and Throat is committed to providing the highest quality, state-of-the-art medical care in a compassionate and professional manner.
Our physicians come from high-level training programs with expertise in treating both basic and complex problems in children and adults. We pride ourselves on providing a unique level of consistency and care. All physicians are board Certified in Pediatric and Adult Otolaryngology.
Our new, expanded 11,000 square foot facility allows us to offer comfortable, spacious and child-friendly accommodations. We have implemented technological advancements to further improve patient care and safety. An Electronic Medical Record system allows paperless charting. Electronic prescriptions can be sent directly to your pharmacy.
Scope of Practice
Medical and surgical treatment of the Ear, Nose and Throat disorders in adults and children:
- Pediatrics – Dr. Samuel Engel, a fellowship-trained Pediatric Otolaryngologist, allows us to accommodate the most challenging pediatric ear, nose and throat problems.
- Ear Surgery – cholesteatoma, otosclerosis, ear drum repair, and disorders of the hearing bones
- Head and Neck Surgery – salivary gland tumors, benign and malignant neck masses.
- Thyroid and Parathyroid Disorders – offering minimally invasive Endoscopic Surgery
- Allergy and Sinus Disease - nasal polyps, deviated septum, disorders of taste and smell, and fungal sinusitis. We offer minimally invasive Balloon Sinuplasty.
- Minimally Invasive Skull Base Surgery – includes pituitary tumors and large sinus/eye tumors.
- Voice and swallowing Disorders – hoarseness, vocal cord nodules, vocal cord paralysis, and vocal cord cancers.
- Balance Disorders and Balance Physical Therapy – dizziness, vertigo, motion sickness, positional vertigo, fall prevention, and Meniere’s Disease.

Please bring along your insurance card, referrals if needed and Drivers License or other photo ID as well as any recent test results, films or other information pertinent to your medical condition.
